A Heavenly Taste : Paradise Persis Biryani

Having been under the Muslim dynasty for almost 4 centuries, Hyderabad has a big Muslim influence or -more than the influence- “existence” in every corner which can also be recognized in the traditional cuisine of the city.

Paradise Pessis from outside                      Buryani & the buddies onions, yoghurt, mirchi ka salan
Paradise, a small bakery that was built a couple of decades ago, is today known as one of the best biryani restaurants in Hyderabad. My 2 travel buddies on the way to here, both suggested me to try this unique food and I could expect that the taste was not so strange for us as Buryan was one of the best dishes of my mom.

Paradise is not only full of Muslims but also Brahmin Hindus who are known to  be vegetarians come & eat here

Served with onions, yoghurt and mirchi ka salan sauce, traditional way of eating is with hands after mixing the side dishes. Dune and I were too civilized to dirty our hands whereas Akhil and Arjun Nair were ‘diving into’ their plates to give the deserved treatment to this traditional dish. Having a super nice breakfast at home, I was not hungry at all so i couldnt eat the half of it but I was happy to accomplish the 'Biryani mission' eventually.
Dune & I =>  "Poshy way" to eat Biryani  (boo!)          Akhil & Arjun Nair => Proper way to eat Biryani
